Prohibited Items –
Construction/Remodeling materials (such as plasterboard, lumber, paneling, and large amounts of carpet,
windows, and doors, very small amounts of construction material may be taken if packaged properly)
Tires (up to 5 tires will be accepted from Scott County residents during the year at no charge), and
Appliances

Eldridge City Shop (105 E LeClaire Rd, Eldridge) will accept appliances including stoves, refrigerators,
washers, dryers, freezers, and window air conditioners. Dishwashers and microwaves will NOT be accepted. Also
accepted at the City Shop are car batteries and waste oil. Operating hours are Monday through Friday 7:00
a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
