Election Information

The election is this fall, November 7th, 2023. The City of Eldridge will have 3 City Council spots open. The Candidate Guides are available to pick up at City Hall or can be downloaded via the Iowa Secretary of State's website Schools and Cities (iowa.gov). The first day to file nomination papers is August 28, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., papers are filled with the City Clerk at City Hall. The deadline for accepting nomination papers is Thursday, September 21, 2023, by 5:00 p.m. 

The objection period starts September 26, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. Absentee ballot requests can be made August 29, 2023, and ballots will be mailed out starting approximately October 17, 2023.  Satellite voting will be available at the Eldridge Library (200 N 6th Ave, Eldridge) and the Scott Co Administration Building (600 W 4th St, Davenport) approximately 14 days prior to the elections. 

Election Day is Tuesday, November 7, 2023, and polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
