Sponsor a Brick at Wiese Park

A family whose roots in the Eldridge community date back more than 100 years was honored by having the city’s newest park named after them.

After the city of Eldridge purchased the corner lot at the intersection of North Second and Davenport streets, the Eldridge Parks and Recreation Board wasted no time in unanimously approving the name “Wiese Park”, in honor of longtime residents Bob and Luella Wiese and their ancestors as well.

This green space will be on center stage as Eldridge festivities continue for years to come.
